Starry Starry Night Poem

In conjunction with the starry starry night picture that i have drawn, a poem is composed.

Starry starry Night

I can't believe my eyes

Tonight the sky is so so bright

Sparkle and twinkle in the sky

No, it is not the moonlight

And neither the fireflies

Just thousands of star that make up the night.

"Kiss the baby sky"

A perfect song for tonight

Non stop playing on my mind

A cup of green tea makes it a perfect night

Stargazing always leads me on cloud nine

Especially in this starry starry night.

p/s: Ooops, i cant see any star tonight. Composed it based on my drawing and my imagination. LOL

Hopeless Wishes

oh boy, why i feel so homeless?

our bonds are slowly broken and chainless;

really feel so helpless, i'm so helpless,
seems like we have drifted further and further, it's so remoteness;

I am still that much useless, so useless,
nothing i can do to line up the broken pieces;

thought that i was already emotionless,
after all the tear drops and sadness;

again and again i can still taste the bitterness,
it is killing me and no, i'm not painless;

sometimes i feel so lifeless, so lifeless,
no one to turn to and the loneliness;

can i not to feel so hopeless? it's so hopeless...
can i runaway from all the messes?

all i want is togetherness, only togetherness,
and this will be my biggest wishes.

C'est La Vie...

Introducing....

my first ever serious poem, which was composed and posted in my facebook notes on November 29, 2008. 'Isn't Right' is my 2nd piece.

This is life (C'est la vie)

easy come, easy go,
things always come and go,
sometimes it is hard to let them go,
so we should always learn to let go...

things come before you know,
truth is something you should know,
nothing is impossible to say no,
sometimes we should learn to say no...

time past and go,
we often think what if we never did so,
life is not as easy as u think so,
try not to regret when you grow old...

I wrote a few funny poems for my friends before this one in my facebook but all are crazy poems...haha..it was a long time ago. English, malay or mandarin? I have all, even mix language and hokkien also got...I started composing poem after my Langkawi Trip last year. I did not know why suddenly got so much idea at that time. Now? No more idea....

Okla, let's stop here for today...

*Twinkle Twinkle Little Star*

Come on, sing with me, "Twinkle twinkle little star, how i wonder what you are, up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky, twinkle twinkle little star, how i wonder what you are."

This is a well-known nursery rhyme that every kids will learn to sing. For your information, the joint authors of this rhyme were 2 sisters called Ann Taylor and Jane Taylor and the first publication date was 1806. Wow, it was 203 years ago and yet it is still very popular now. It is often sung to the tune of the French melody "Ah! vous diraj-je, Maman" (Ah! I shall tell you, Mum). Mozart wrote the twelve variations on "Ah! vous diraj-je, Maman".

Actually, do you know that the part that we've learned is just a small part of the original poem. Let's see the full version:

Twinkle twinkle little star,

how I wonder what you are?

Up above the world so high ,

like a diamond in the sky!

When the blazing sun is gone,

when he nothing shines upon,

Then you show your little light,

twinkle, twinkle all the night.

Then the traveller in the dark,

thanks you for your tiny spark,

Isn't Right

Tonight is another night,

dark dark sky with no moonlight,

feeling a bit tight,

something is just not right;

Staring at the fluorescent light,

i do not feel it is bright,

something wrong with my eyesight?

or just my mind isn't right?

Hoping to get a flight,

escape to a place with a great height,

to see the beautiful twilight,

wish that everything can just out of my sight;

Everything is just not right,

but i won't give up without a fight,

try my best to make everything alright,

and tomorrow night will be a wonderful night.
