No matter...

I came across with this song today and kinda like the melody and the lyrics.

No matter by Angel

Actually i don't know who is the singer so i try to google the song and i found out that this song was never been released commercially but it was in a few dramas. So, I think those TVB drama fans should familiar with this song because they used this song in a few dramas before.

Oh, there is an error in the lyrics. It should be like this:

In the windy day, wind will lead (not leave) your way.

I have an announcement to make.

The pregnant cat had given birth to 3 baby cats.

If not mistaken, they are 2 girls and a boy.

They'll be adopted by others when they grow bigger and no longer dependent on their mom.

I feel that the cats are really 好命 (lucky?). They are given with a lot of freedom (not caged) and are fed with good food. See what they eat:

cat biscuits

ocean fish (my dad really sayang them)

That's why we have to give away the baby cats or else my dad will be broke because they eat a lot.

However, they really do their job well. They did catch rats for a few times before.

can u spot the hidden cat? hehe

How do i get fat? Part 2: Tea Time

Usually, when i'm in KL, i wont have tea time.

Okla, may be i will have some biscuits or fruits for tea time occasionally if i feel hungry.

Here in Penang, gosh...I am 'forced' to have tea time, although not everyday, but quite often.

What i have for tea time??

Papa's homemade Decaffeinated Nescafe.
I thought i wont have any coffee after my exam =.=
but my dad would say: "Let's have some nescafe together, i make for you..."
Luckily, it is decaffeinated. So, palpitation wont strike and i still can sleep after having it.

Oily food: Pisang goreng, ubi goreng, curry puff, kuih, etc....
walao..all fried food.
I dont mind to have them occasionally, but my dad just love them and will buy them when he passes by the stall.
I am forced to eat them because i dont want my dad to eat so much. They are not good for health but my dad just wont listen. Haihhhh...what to do? I cant stop him from buying them so all i can do is to scarify my body to eat them. This is how i get fat.

To be continued....

the CATs

I love small animals.

Dogs? cats? rabbits? hamsters?

I love them all as long as they are pets.

Let me show you the cats in my dad's sundry shop.

Miao Miao (or Meow Meow) the mom

She likes to sneak out secretly to see her boyfriend =.=

Currently, she is pregnant for the 2nd time. Faint!

Mani (or Money, i think Money is more correct) the kid
She got 2 siblings but they are already given away.

She is very naughty and hyperactive.
Like to play with plastic bags.

Cute huh?

How do i get fat? Part 1: The Ice Cream

As we all know, ice cream is a junk food, sweet and creamy, unhealthy food that make us fat.

Yes, i like ice cream. But, i will only have it once in a blue moon. I like to eat ice cream especially when i'm stressed or sad.

My favorite ice cream is Green Tea Ice Cream (from the Legend of Tea)..yummy

My favorite flavor other than green tea is chocolate.

Get back to the main point, how i get fat during this holiday.

Everytime i follow my dad to his sundry shop, he'll ask me to eat ice cream. My reply? No, i don't want...very full and ice cream makes us fat.

Then he finds me not noticing, usually when i'm reading newspaper, he will take 2 ice creams, unwrap them and stand beside me.

Suddenly, dad said: "Nah, take it!"

I looked at him and replied: "I don't want."

Dad: "Unwrapped already, just eat la."

Me: "...."

No choice lo, i have to eat it since he already unwrapped it without asking me want to eat or not. I'm not sure whether he wants to eat it or he wants me to eat. Haha...

I had eaten 3 ice creams in less than a week. This is how i get fat.

How do i get fat? To be continued....

It has been a routine for me to follow my dad to his little sundry shop after dinner almost everyday since i backed from KL.

As usual, i just go there, sit aside playing with the cats or reading newspaper.

About 10.00pm, when the shop was about to close, i saw a woman riding a motorcycle and stopped in front the shop. She came in, approached the counter straight away and asked : "Aunty, dah berapa lama kamu buka kedai ini?"

Curiosity lead me and my dad to approach the counter and see what was wrong.

Aunty: "Setengah tahun."

Woman: " Aunty, semalam kamu salah kira la."

Then she took out a note book and turned to a page where she listed down what she had bought from the shop yesterday and the price of each item. She took the calculator on the table and showed the aunty the total price.

Woman: " kamu kurang kira ini."

I thought she came back to ask for the money that over calculated but turned out to be to return the money that miscalculated yesterday.

Dad: " Wah, kamu sporting ar...orang biasa tak akan pulang balik duit kalau tersalah kira."

Said the woman, as she shopped for some groceries: " Saya juga buat business, saya tau la...buat apa juga ada balasan la...hari ini buat macam ini kepada orang lain, lain hari orang lain juga akan balas balik kepada kamu. Saya tak kisah kalau saya tersalah kira dan customer tak pulangkan duit tetapi bagi saya, orang business, saya tau la, saya akan pulangkan duit la......."

This woman is really honest. I mean she came back to return 60cents that was wrongly calculated the day before. It is really hard to find this kind of people nowadays. Like me for instant, i will return back the uncorrect change if i find out on the spot. If i only find out after i went home, i don't think i'll go back and return the money.

This is what i encountered today. I find it hard to believe and like to share it here. Thanks for reading it.

C'est La Vie...

my first ever serious poem, which was composed and posted in my facebook notes on November 29, 2008. 'Isn't Right' is my 2nd piece.

This is life (C'est la vie)

easy come, easy go,
things always come and go,
sometimes it is hard to let them go,
so we should always learn to let go...

things come before you know,
truth is something you should know,
nothing is impossible to say no,
sometimes we should learn to say no...

time past and go,
we often think what if we never did so,
life is not as easy as u think so,
try not to regret when you grow old...

I wrote a few funny poems for my friends before this one in my facebook but all are crazy was a long time ago. English, malay or mandarin? I have all, even mix language and hokkien also got...I started composing poem after my Langkawi Trip last year. I did not know why suddenly got so much idea at that time. Now? No more idea....

Okla, let's stop here for today...

Mon Chéri!

Hoho...finally, no more exam for the rest of this year...

Since i'm so free, let me show you the Ferrero Rondnoir that my sister has posted to me last month...

How is it different from Ferrero Rocher? First, the outer coating is a chocolate crumble, whereas Rocher is coated with crushed nuts. Then inside the wafer shell, it is a little sphere of buttery dark chocolate cream and for Rocher, it is a whole hazelnut surrounded by chocolate hazelnut paste. The taste is quite different as Rondnoir has more chocolate flavor.

Other famous products from Ferrero Group other than these two are Kinder Beuno, Raffaello, Mon Cheri and etc.

My favourite of them all is Mon Cheri. There are two version of Mon Cheri. The American ones are simply a milk chocolate shell over a whole hazelnut surrounded by hazelnut paste and crushed hazelnut. The European version consists of cherry floating in a special liquor and shelled with milk chocolate. The one i like is the American one. Never try the European one as it is not sold in Malaysia.

'Mon Chéri', the name is actually come from French word, Mon Chérie means 'My Dear'. Nice name, isn't it?

But too bad, after 20 years in production, this american version Mon Cheri is discontinued by Ferrero Group. Sob sob :'( ...No wonder i can't find it anywhere, even in Langkawi since last year. No more chance to enjoy it again. Goodbye, Mon Chéri!

-A Fighter-

4 days to go to my FM exam....

I really stressed out yesterday and about to break down and give up. But then, I don't have the courage to withdraw the exam.

If i give up and withdraw, i'll let the people around me, who support me, especially my family members down. I don't want to do that because they always believe in me, believe that i will make it, believe that i will go through it.

Yes, I am a loser if i give up without a try. I am a winner if i try my best and hang on till the last moment even though i don't succeed, right?

Perhaps, money will be the only thing i'll loss if i fail the exam (although it was sponsored by my brother). But, I can always earn it back, so it means that i got nothing to lose.

I got my strength back today. I know i am a fighter. I am ready to fight till the end.

Song of the day: Fighter - Christina Aguilera

'Cause it makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
Makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
It makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter

Song of the day: Stolen by Jay Sean

This is a song i used to like a few years ago. The only old song i can remember from this singer.

Oh ya, Jay Sean's new song Down featuring Lil Wayne is quite nice also.

After watching the video, I got a question here.

Do guys always cannot resist when women offer themselves to them?

Or just they simply do not want to reject the 'great' offer?

I don't understand la.

Get back to stolen, when will my heart be stolen? haha...

Due to some personal reasons, i have locked up my heart and secured it in a safety box to prevent it from being stolen and broken. It's quite hard to steal it because to reach the box, first one must tear down a wall.

Well to tell you the truth, my heart is almost being stolen this year. Everything is happened too fast and too abrupt until no time for me to build the wall. Fortunately, it did not happened. I felt lucky because i found out later that the person is not the right one for me.

I'll feel scared when someone gets nearer to the safety box. I guess i got philophobia. I think i need some time to overcome it. Hopefully, i can meet the right one who has the right key to unlock my heart and help me overcoming my phobia.

p/s: I don't why i wanna share those feeling here today. Those are truly personal and deep down from my heart and i usually won't share. May be i'll regret after posting it...

Take your time, have a cup of Coffee...

I have to admit, i'm addicted to coffee recently. The coffee i mean here is Old Town White Coffee with natural cane sugar.

The funny thing is i used to dislike coffee for the past 22 years. Haha...

I started drinking coffee this year during my internship period (March-June). I had to wake up very early every morning to go to work. To kill my sleepiness, i drank coffee. I can't really drink much coffee because of palpitation. So, i just added a bit Nescafe in my Milo and it became Neslo. I drank it almost every working day during that period.

I started with Nescafe. Then my brother recommend me Old Town White Coffee and i started to like it and abandoned Nescafe. I would mix half packet of Old Town White Coffee with 2 teaspoons of Milo. Yum yum..

I stopped after my internship ended and started to drink it again lately during my study week. I drink it almost everyday but not everyday la..haha. I'll start my day with a cup of Neslo and biscuits or bread. After that, i only start studying.

I drink and drink and drink until running out of supply only i realized my addiction to it. I would crave for it. I substituted it with Nescafe Gold which i bought long time ago but it doesn't satisfy my taste bud, haha..

We always hear that coffee is bad for health. Actually, coffee is not as bad and harmful to health. Moderate consumption of coffee can be good for health.

Health benefits of coffee
  • coffee helps to combat atherosclerosis, since it increases blood content of benign cholesterol, which help prevent hardening of the walls of blood vessels
  • helps identify irregularities in the work of the digestive system, like (heartburn, gastritis, etc.)
  • protects the liver from a number of diseases
  • prevents the increase of blood pressure, due to fact that coffee contains polyphenols, which according to experts expand the blood vessels.
  • coffee contains life-giving antioxidants to help fight cancer and heart disease
  • coffee helps to stop blood after small cuts
  • increases stamina
  • helps to overcome drowsiness
  • coffee enhances memory and the ability to focus
  • stimulates the creative spirit and associative thinking
  • coffee treats cold (at initial stage)
  • improves your mood
  • enhances the functioning of the heart and metabolism
  • coffee positively affects the lungs
  • improves blood circulation
  • coffee contains vitamin PP and minerals
  • stimulates activity of kidneys

Oh ya, i almost forget, my purpose of writing this post is to show off the Old Town White Coffee mug i got today. My mug's serial no. is 0026286. Haha... the mug is really cute and it is limited edition. I can enjoy my coffee again start from tomorrow until i finish my external paper in 1st of December.

Fantastic Fourth~

I feel very tired today may be because i did not sleep well last night. I woke up every 2 hours after i slept. Haihhh..

I got no idea what to draw so i didn't plan to draw today. I guessed i'm just too tired to do anything.

After dinner time, i took out my notes and stared at it. And I thought: i need a break from those notes for awhile. So i clicked the 'Paint' and started drawing again.

Drawing is my recent way to release tension. I really feel better and happier after drawing. You should try too if you feel stress.

You might say my drawings are ugly or cute or whatever, i really don't care as long as they can bring laughter to my friends.

Here's the picture of the day, my fourth piece. It's Moo Moo again...(I really don't know how to draw others, especially human being)

My housemates said i have improved...haha!

-My little Sister-

I have a sister. Her name is Joyce. We are very very close. I love her very much.

She is younger than me but she is taller than me. So outsiders always thought that i'm younger than her...hehe

Although she is younger than me, she always treats me and takes care of me as if she is my big sister. Every time i go back Penang, she'll buy me my favorite food like dark Chocolate, some junk food and etc. She always worries that i got nothing to eat in KL. She works part time in ESPRIT and she always 'forces' me to go there to choose some clothes because she wants to buy for me (but the clothes there don't really fit me so i seldom go). I know she loves me and wants to make me happy.

I recalled the first day when i left Penang to UM in KL. I remembered she did not speak much that day and i could see her sad eyes with some tears at the moment i left. I shed some tears on my way to KL not because of leaving home but because of her. She is the one that i worried the most when i left Penang. I felt bad for leaving her alone in Penang as my 2 brothers were also at KL at that time.

There is another incident that i felt touching. It was happened in this year during my internship period. My friends and i planned to go back to our beloved home town on one friday straight after worked. She bought the tickets a few days before but the tickets turned out to be invalid because the time stated in the ticket was not in the schedule. We were ask to wait here wait there and we walked around Pudu Raya that night. For the first time, i wore high heels for about 20 hours. Can you imagine how painful my legs were? After a few hours, we only knew that our tickets were actually invalid. We tried to changed the tickets but the counter had closed at that time and was operated by different person. All tickets were sold out because that following monday was a public holiday. We were stranded at Pudu Raya until almost midnight. I called my dad and told him that i could not go back that day and the incident. My sister was having supper with my dad at that time and tears were rolling down her cheeks instantly when she heard about the incident. I knew this from my dad the next day and i was touched because she cried in the public because of me. By the way, we got tickets to go back at the end and that was a bad incident that i had experienced and would remember. A beautiful nightmare huh?

Ding Dong. The door bell rang. Someone is looking for me. I'm curious. Who could he or she be? He is the Pos Laju man. He handed me a parcel from Joyce, my sister. I am very very surprised because she never mentions to me about this. You know what is it inside the parcel? As i guessed, it is a box of dark Chocolate - Ferrero Rondnoir (i never eat before one..hehe). I guess she worries that i am under stress as I'm having exam now. This is the second time i received Chocolate parcel from her (the first time was a box of Ferrero Rocher, big one, during Valentines' day...haha). I am very happy today because i got a surprise from her. She makes my day. Really good to have such a sister huh? Don't envy...hehe

I love you, sis! Thanks....

*Twinkle Twinkle Little Star*

Come on, sing with me, "Twinkle twinkle little star, how i wonder what you are, up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky, twinkle twinkle little star, how i wonder what you are."

This is a well-known nursery rhyme that every kids will learn to sing. For your information, the joint authors of this rhyme were 2 sisters called Ann Taylor and Jane Taylor and the first publication date was 1806. Wow, it was 203 years ago and yet it is still very popular now. It is often sung to the tune of the French melody "Ah! vous diraj-je, Maman" (Ah! I shall tell you, Mum). Mozart wrote the twelve variations on "Ah! vous diraj-je, Maman".

Actually, do you know that the part that we've learned is just a small part of the original poem. Let's see the full version:

Twinkle twinkle little star,
how I wonder what you are?
Up above the world so high ,
like a diamond in the sky!

When the blazing sun is gone,
when he nothing shines upon,
Then you show your little light,
twinkle, twinkle all the night.

Then the traveller in the dark,
thanks you for your tiny spark,
He could not see which way to go,
if you did not twinkle so.

In the dark blue sky you keep,
and often through my curtains peep,
For you never shut your eye,
'till the sun is in the sky.

As your bright and tiny spark
lights the traveller in the dark,
Though I know not what you are -
twinkle, twinkle little star.

A beautiful rhymes for kids. Don't you think so?

How it begins...

Ok, the most voted title is 'Rhythm in my heart". It was the first one came into my mind when i was about to create a blog. On second thought, i feel that it was not good enough and i came out with more ideas. I got a few choices but i can't make up my mind. So i just ditched the idea and forget about it.

On 21st october 2009, wednesday, i went to SS2 to lok-lok with my course mates after our Insurance class. Jenna drove us (Hooi Ling, Yeek Chee, Kit Yeng and me) back that day after lok-lok. On our way back to University Tower, where i stay, we started to talk about Chee and Jenna's blogs. Then i told them actually i had been thinking of blogging but i didn't know what title to put. I told them my blog is title-less and this was how "Title-Less" came. After that, i can't remember either Jenna or Chee came out with the voting idea. And this was how my blog is created with a voting poll. My blogging life is started from here....

"Rhythm In My Heart" ---> Like i wrote in the title description, "a place to share, for everything i care", this blog is a place for me to voice out everything that is deep down in my heart, something that i usually don't speak out but i care and like to share. Want to know me better? Just follow my rhythm!

Thank you all for the support!
